Gruß vom Swampus

Book of the year.

Swampus is a portmanteau of “swamp” and “Krampus,” the legendary Christmas demon who is an evil counterpart to St. Nicholas in Germanic legend.  Unlike the legendary Krampus, however, Swampus does not whip children with chains and switches or drag them off to hell.  Instead, Swampus sees himself as more of a lover than a tormentor.

Swampus is a native of North Florida now living in South Florida.  This is where he writes whatever he wants and no one can tell him he can’t.

Swampus has a job and a family and is a rabid fan of the Florida Gators.  Here you may encounter hastily-scribbled missives on these and other subjects.  Feel free to contribute in the comments.
